The 22nd Annual Excellence in Design awards program provides professional acknowledgement within design and manufacturing in today’s global appliance marketplace.

Who Should Enter?
OEMs, industrial design firms and product development firms worldwide that have designed an innovative product this year, of one of the following categories:

• Business machines
• Commercial/vending appliances
• Electronics
• Major appliances/HVAC
• Medical/test & measurement equipment
• Outdoor/leisure appliances
• Small appliances
• Lighting

• Establish yourself as a forward-looking market leader
• Differentiate your new products from both your competition and your own previous generation products
• Receive recognition in appliance DESIGN’s June 2009 issue

Judging Criteria
Judging of the entries will be performed by an independent panel of design experts and will be based on four criteria — innovation, aesthetics, human factors, and technical merits.

Important Dates to Remember:
Entry Deadline: February 6, 2009
Late Deadline: February 13, 2009 (late fee required)

Additional Entry Details:

• Complete one online form for each entry.
• $150 fee for each entry: $225 for each late entry
• Deadline for entries is February 6, 2009. Late entries accepted until February 13, 2009 but include an additional $75 late entry fee.
• All products must have been placed into distribution between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008.
