[T恤]Metropolitan T-shirt Contes)

T-shirt

Azienda Francesco Cardini, known under the brand name Fallin', announces a competition for young, under-40s designers (a competition organized according to international regulations agreed with ICOGRADA, ICSID, IFI), hereinafter referred to as the “Company”.

For some years the art world has seen a series of difficulties in presenting new ideas, due to the feeling that "everything to invent has already been invented". Musicians play tunes already written, designers sketch lines that already exist and even fashion does no more than look back over the years.

Lately the way we behave when faced with everyday things has changed greatly; in fact we are distancing ourselves from the mass or community concepts to rediscover our true characteristics.
This competition targets all who feel “different” from the rest, but nevertheless don’t consider themselves “better”; to those who window-shop at “Hermesse” but then prefer their T-shirt bought on a whim at "Portobello"; to those who see extravagance in their own experiences and crazes and to all those wanting to make themselves heard through lines and colour. We are calling out to all those young people who find beauty in their own uniqueness, with neither shame nor shyness.
We also want the value to originate from the brand (as a guarantee backed by "Made in Italy"), but above all from the thrill everyone experiences from what will be your designs.
It is as well to emphasise, in fact, that these must respond to new emotional needs, those of a more demanding and sophisticated customer base.
What we ask of you are real, fresh, captivating designs. “Metropolitan” fashion is obviously an everyday style, everything that the metropolis represents. You can glean inspiration from everything that surrounds you, but don’t forget to build in your own experience; make sure that an amazing story can be read between the lines of your design. Your T-shirt has to be (for someone) a symbol of uniqueness, character and an expression of his or her own values.

In the wake of this trend, the organizers invite designers, artists, students and architects under 40 to participate in an ideas competition focused on this interesting cultural market reality.
